December 14, 2009 - Lori's Revival: "I Wish I Was a Girl!" - A Day About Trans Kids
"Dennis the birthday boy is about to blow out the birthday candles surrounded by friends and family, the mother says, "Go ahead, make a wish and blow out the candles!" Dennis' eyes light up and right before he blows he exclaims, "I WISH I WAS A GIRL!"

November 6, 2009 - In May of this year KRXQ, Sacremento, CA, broadcast on the "Rob, Arnie & Dawn Show" a controversial "opinion" of trans kids and their parents. (See stories here and here.) KRXQ suffered a severe backlash from listeners and sponsors. Rob then decided to "do the right thing." On June 11, "Rob, Arnie & Dawn" produced a 2-1/2 hour show, featuring TYFA CEO Kim Pearson and noted transgender blogger Autumn Sandeen, with the other side of the story. All the shows are now available online, in 15-minute segments, from KRXQ.  |
October 20, 2009 - During the recent PFLAG Board meeting, it was stressed that the Secretary of the US Department of Education is soliciting reports of bullying and harassment as part of their support for the Safe Schools Improvement Act, HR 2262.  |

July 8, 2009 - A new study is underway at the University of Iowa to compile data on family members of a transgender person. Participants are invited to join the study.  |

June 18, 2009 - A "safe folder" is a collection of documents that are assembled in a binder or folder. It will be useful in protecting your family and educating others.
