TransYouth Family Advocates President, Kim Pearson and advocates Shawn Pearson, “Just Evelyn”, Lisa Gilinger, and Betsy Hanger will be interviewed by a reporter and film crew from CNN on Sunday. Kim and crew are in Los Angeles for the Trans Unity 8 Conference being held at the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center. Kim will be featured as a keynote speaker at the conference and will also spearhead the first ever regional training session for TYFA advocates.

CNN is considering airing a program in June in honor of LGBT Awareness. A portion of the program would be devoted to transgender youth and their families. Be sure to check back here for more details as they become available.
